But we tend to forget the most important of all which is whether the person is God fearing or not.
Though, we all are humans and even most times people who claim to be God fearing do the most unthinkable things. That is why it is a relationship.

In relationship, you study each other trying to figure out each other's character. If you are unable to cope with the attitude, then you call it quit.
But for you to know a God fearing person, you have to give that person a chance to prove it. You will have to study the person's attitude.
A person that has the fear of God does whatever he or she can to please God. The person does not take joy in going against the things of God.
He tries not to make God unhappy.
When a person have this quality, then you will be rest assured that he won't hurt you in anyway.
But when we choose to go out with a person who doesn't fear God, don't expect him or her to fear you or respect you when he or she doesn't respect God.
We need to know that at some point in relationship, we need the grace of God to prevent us from falling.
You think your girl or guy is cute, what happens when you meet someone better. You think he or she is rich, what happens when you meet someone richer who is also interested in you.
In these situations, it takes the grace of God to keep us in check and prevent us from falling and hurting someone's feelings.
So you see, dating a person with the fear of God really pays.
For this to work, it has to be two sided. You don't expect a God fearing person when you are not God fearing.
You can't expect your partner to be perfect when you are not making effort to be perfect.
I always believe in doing to others what you would like to be done to you.
You both have to learn how to make sacrifices for things to work out.
You don't expect your guy to close his eyes when he sees a beautiful lady while you admire other guys in front of him.
You don't expect him to be faithful while you cheat on him.
You always get what you give.
A person will be willing to strive more if he sees his partner making efforts.
So for things to work out fine and possibly lead to marriage, you both have to make efforts to be of good character. Don't play on each other.
If you are praying for a God fearing man, then try your best to be God fearing.
This involves staying away from things that are displeasing to God.
If you want your guys to turn down other girls, then you must be ready to turn down other guys.
If you want him to make you a priority over his female friends, then you must make him a priority over your male friends.
All these is necessary to build a strong relationship. No one enjoys being cheated.
